NEW! The Hcet Galaxy

Note: Please pronounce "Hcet" like the word "Set". Hcet is Tech backwards but it really annoys me if you pronounce in "H-set" or "Chet" or"H-ket" or "Ket" or anything other than "Set" so please don't. My teacher read part out to loud at a young writers convention and I was kind of irritated, because it happened even though I put the pronunciation right after the word. Thank you.

The Hcet Galaxy is the most technologically advanced galaxy in the universe. It is run by the a galactic government, the Allied Council of Hcet. The Keepers, an organization founded by the first human to arrive in Hcet, Trock, protect the galaxy and its inhabitants from evildoers. Some Keepers become corrupted and try to overthrow the galaxy. To stop them, Keepers use wondrous devices called Chips to control elements of the universe, from time to lollipops to fire to the number two (that one hardly does anything, all you can do is draw energy from any 2s nearby. The Keeper who has that one is like 2000 years old and he wears a cloak covered with number twos in almost every language.). In the Hcet galaxy, there are robots and spaceships, laser guns and healing paste (except it's really expensive. You have to desperately need it. That company is not generous.), even a device called the Molecule Reassembling Importer (MRI) that has a literal mind of its own. It can travel through space by itself, drawing power from the time-space continuum. It gets its name from the fact that it can take apart a person's molecules and suck up the atoms, teleport to another place and  spit out the person exactly the same as before, just somewhere else. The MRI is also rumored to be able to view the future, because it always seems to bring a hero to the galaxy in its time of need. It was invented by Trock, who was a young man working on a top-secret side project of Project Manhattan that no one other than he, the President and the top people in the FBI and CIA. It went wrong one night and Trock was taken to the Hcet galaxy. He founded the Keepers as a government and discovered the Chips, along with nine mysterious gemstones he made into the Nine Pendants of Trock.
(In our next update, I'll tell more about the mysterious Nine Pendants of Trock, the Elemental Chips, the Chips of Power, and the Ropots.)

Chapter 1 Summary

A hero has been brought to the galaxy! Torn from his family on Earth as a baby, Andrik was raised for three years by a Keeper before being sent by the Ropotrolis City Government to a harsh cruel orphanage. He endured it for twelve years before deciding it was time to escape. In a heroic plan, Andrik demolishes the orphanage with the dastardly robot caretakers inside, letting the orphans escape first. rather than going with the others, though, Andrik heads to the junkyard, where he puts together a ship, the Dragon, and becomes a Keeper. Deciding to try and collect all the Chips, Andrik sets out for the Ropotrolis City Police Department, run by the one-man police force Ropol1, or Rope. He learns of a Chip, but also learns of a heartless villain, the Commander, who is also trying to collect it. Will Andrik be able to demote the Commander, or will he be shot down by the Commander's warship, the colossal Warcat?
