Today we had a primary pioneer day activity to go to and my Mom got to help.
She got to set up an obsticle course and this is how it went.
First you would wheel your wagon through the chairs * Then you piled up a bunch of sticks *
Then you got to a part where their were two buckets full of water with gloves with little holes at the end you filled up the gloves and milked the cows * Then you circled the laundry baskets * then we jump roped.
It was fun! We also made butter tasted hardtack made clothespin dolls & boys made tin punches.
! Happy Pioneer day!

It sounds like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fun obstacle course! I bet everyone was laughing and having a great time! We didn't do anything for Pioneer Day, but today is Rocky's birthday, so instead we did a birthday party for him. We played Human Bowling (you lie on a skateboard and wear gloves and a helmet, then roll down the drive way trying to knock over bowling pins with your head). We also played some fun games from the television show, Minute-to-Win-it. We played a game where the kids had to wiggle their faces around to move an oreo from their forehead into their mouth without touching it with their hands. It was very funny to watch.
ReplyDeleteSo even though we didn't do a cool obstacle course like you, we did have fun today!
I love how Pioneer Day (& special birthdays) are celebrated! I had a good laugh picturing the "cow milking" portion. So funny!
